What was
the problem?

Before partnering with us, WebMakers had its own system for monitoring the company’s financial performance, sales analysis, wages, and other costs. This system also tracked the working hours of individual developers. However, as the company grew, the volume of data became overwhelming. The management needed guidance on how to organize the data, which metrics to prioritize, and how frequently to review them. Additionally, despite having their own tools, WebMakers lacked the expertise to compare analytical results with accounting figures.

How we delivered WebMakers's results

At the start of our collaboration, we prepared a management profit and loss statement. We divided revenues into different business lines and matched them with direct costs. We also separated revenue from other activities not related to the company’s core business. Together with the managers, we categorized costs, dividing them into direct operational costs, sales and marketing costs, and other expenses, including administration and general management. Next, we compiled a list of key metrics that are most important to monitor for software houses. We then began working on a budget to support management in setting business goals for the coming year. Additionally, we provided technical guidance to the IT team in improving their internal analytics system and established a methodology for calculating other key metrics relevant to WebMakers.
